MAGNOLIA – detach
MAGNOLIA is a double flower, absurd, that tells us about how much the nature is fucking great
there are two types of magnolias:
– winter magnolia, which, of course, blooms in winter, it is a huge, gigantic tree, full of gigantic and green leaflets, with a white and large flower, open…. so open, that it seems to be missing something inside
– summer magnolia, which strangely blooms in summer, it is a very small tree, meager, with few or no leaves, small and scattered and beautiful pink flowers, a little closed…. that they open up, but it seems like it’s missing something underneath, like a base
In short, these two guys are exactly opposite
in ancient times, however they were a unique tree
then biology , we don’t know how, divided this tree in half and the two of them were born
HECK
such an incredible story, even plants get divorced
the ancient Greeks, who embroider stories and legends about anything, tell that once the two magnolias were one: a life shared and united, in symbiosis, dependent on each other, happy and carefree, they created their large and powerful tree ^_^
but then the little one saw a nymph passing by and fell in love…
its passion was so strong to make it go against the laws of nature and separate from the large mother tree and create its small tree, bare, with a few leaves, a few twigs here and there, but full of flowers ^_^
its strength – passion, love, determination – could also reverse the laws of nature
magnolia, therefore, speaks of divorce
of detachment from the nucleus of birth
of detachment from certainties, mountains, roots and habits that have accompanied us for a long time
the symbolism of magnolia talks about chasing your dreams
or a great love
or a huge passion
magnolia speaks of being able to detach from a rooted comfort zone, whether it was good for us, whether it was destructive
the meaning of magnolia tells us about a new life
to feed and nourish, but that was actually already born
magnolia speaks of new horizons
SUMMER magnolia
winter magnolia instead, is the one that was left
that
has the melancholy of emptiness
of a missing part that will never be filled
it’s a gigantic structure that faces the mourning
and detachment
and continues to bloom, even if the flower no longer seems complete
and holds back the perennial green leaves
in order not to show its bare structure
it doesn’t want to show its sufferings or the gray days full of tears
and it must maintain its huge structure, that he had created when they were a couple and that continues to carry on with pride, head-on, even alone, without that small pink flower that decided to chase its butterflies
magnolia speaks of detachment, from both points of view
because we have to remember that we are made of two parts
and sometimes this detail is not taken into consideration
with love, but always irreverent
