GETTING A TATTOO IN SUMMER?!

if I had a euro for everyone who thinks it’s better not to get tattoos in summer, I would be a millionaire, a multi-millionaire, of course

I don’t know why you’re reading this article, but I like to imagine it a bit like this:

happily and carefree, you enter a tattoo studio

You make an appointment for August 10th

the calm tattoo artist didn’t say anything to you; he suggested it himself, and it was the first available date

so, off you go, “I’m even on vacation! It’s perfect!”

You leave the studio

You send a message to your best friend

She replies something like: WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!? You don’t get tattoos in the summer!!!

and you’re taken aback

You open Google, type: “Is getting a tattoo in summer bad?”

and here you are

well, you can send a message to your friend and tell her she’s silly to believe everything she hears, and you can send her the link to this article ^_^

getting a tattoo in the summer is just fine. In fact, I’ll tell you more: it’s better to get a tattoo in the summer than in the winter, even though the transitional seasons are absolutely the best for tattoos ^_^

here are some reasons in favor of my thesis:

in winter, the skin is muuuuuch drier than usual, just think about your shins’ skin in winter… it’s all scales if you don’t moisturize it
and how easily does the skin that’s exposed to the cold crack? You know how much more fragile the skin is in winter?

one of the favorable aspects of getting a tattoo in summer is the increased speed of our metabolism, which makes healing faster

in summer, you have much fewer clothes on
, which avoids constant friction and unnecessary platelet dispersion. It allows the tattoo to breathe more, facilitating tissue turnover

moreover, in summer, it’s more likely that our diet is healthier, with a greater intake of raw fruits and vegetables rich in collagen, vitamins, and minerals, promoting skin healing

getting a tattoo in summer has many favorable aspects, but only one downside: the sun

and if you want to delve into the relationship between the sun and tattoos, I’ve written two articles:

sun, Sea, and Tattoos

sunscreen, but why?

summing up:

the quality of the skin is the number one factor influencing the quality of the tattoo

you can manage the sun-tattoo relationship

you can’t improve your skin in winter

of course, this doesn’t mean it’s forbidden to get a tattoo in winter, on the contrary
but all of this was to say that it’s not forbidden to get a tattoo in summer either

PS: the cordless phone is an absurd invention that has greatly complicated the existence of the human population, I’m convinced…

With love, but always irreverent,
