ANESTHETIC CREAM for tattooing: what you need to know

can you use anesthetic cream to get tattooed?
in Italy no, absolutely not, in Italy it is prohibited
but at the bottom of the article I tell you what how and why you can do it

if you read the leaflet of the anesthetic creams you will notice that they are to be used on “intact skin, but during a tattoo the skin is obviously no longer intact, it is damaged, and the active ingredients designed for external use are instead placed inside the body and can trigger unwanted side effects, even anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal, if you are allergic to the active ingredients

obviously if you’ve ever undergone some kind of anesthesia (even just at the dentist) you know if you can be allergic to something, but well… I wouldn’t risk it in the absence of a doctor nearby…. see you!

the skin also becomes hard like leather with the use of topical anesthetic creams, thus making the “canvas” more difficult to tattoo
in some cases the hard skin does not allow the tattoo artist to perform certain techniques or fine details
and in all cases, tougher skin requires a more violent invasion, which will lead to more difficult healing and a higher probability of retouching

then between saying and doing there is half the sea, so I also know that many tattoo artists use it or even recommend it
however, it remains prohibited by law and still remains dangerous

and then in short….. a tattoo must be suffered a little right?!?
WHO BEAUTIFUL WANTS TO APPEAR A LITTLE MUST SUFFER; NO?!

punks talk about a culture of survival
in our post-modern life we all feel like shit, in a world that scares us, we feel under siege from the whole world and our inner EGO contracts into a defensive core
getting a tattoo becomes a way to build one’s identity and give it strength

during the tattoo you experience a feeling of superhuman power, aka Hulk, because the painful and bloody nature of the tattoo is proof of your strength, that you are a sborone and even the mini pain of modern machines is evocation of the proud primordial warrior ready to “sell dear skin”

among other things, skin made even more formidable by the tattoo, as if it were proof of our valor in war, as if it were an armor that protects us and says to the enemy: “Do you see how strong and valiant I am? And you, poop, who are you?”

pain ennobles the tattoo because it is the distinctive sign of those who have the strength to stay in touch with life,
not to dissociate themselves from reality in case of need to escape

putting the anesthetic cream on the other hand is a very comfortable escape route, which however nullifies all the possibility you have of feeling like a SuperHero who can defeat everything, even if it were only for a few hours

I didn’t convince you and you want the easy way out?
OK, here’s what you need to know:

you need a doctor’s prescription to buy these anesthetic creams, but your doctor knows you, he knows that if you are not allergic to the active ingredients you don’t risk your life, he knows that you are a tattoo lover but not a pain lover and he could prescribe it without problems
BE SINCERE BUT EH! so your doctor knows what you use it for and knows if you can really use it or if there may be contraindications in your case

these fucking creams cost a little bit eh!
fifty euros for a 30g tube, so calculate how much you need based on the size of the tattoo and get the recipe for the required amount

the cream should be placed on the area to be tattooed for at least half an hour, even an hour, before starting the tattoo: you spread a thick, thick and abundant layer of cream and close everything with the transparent kitchen film

the anesthetic effect lasts an hour at most, so if you have to make a large tattoo: you’re screwed, there’s no way out, you have to suffer ^_^

with love, but always irreverent
