CAN YOU TATTOO OVER MOLES?<\/h3>\n

logically, you can, but it’s best not to<\/em><\/p>\n

what does that mean?<\/em><\/p>\n

a mole is simply an anomaly in the skin that manifests as a spot<\/p>\n

however, moles over time can transform into melanomas, skin tumors that can only be diagnosed by looking at them closely with a magnifying glass<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

and guess what?<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

if the mole is tattooed, the dermatologist can’t see it<\/strong> and, therefore, can’t check its condition or diagnose a potential melanoma<\/p>\n

so, tattooing a mole doesn’t create any problems immediately, but it could cause issues in the future<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CAN YOU TATTOO OVER SKIN SPOTS?<\/h3>\n

vitiligo is only a partial or total lack of melanin that creates a different skin color, turning it white as milk<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

however, the skin is perfectly healthy, absolutely normal<\/strong>, without any present, past, or future issues
\nso yes, yes, yes, you can tattoo over the white spots on vitiligo-affected skin<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CAN YOU TATTOO IF YOU HAVE PSORIASIS?<\/h3>\n

no and maybe<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

psoriasis is a condition that creates abnormal plaques on the skin,
\nmaking it uneven and, therefore, not tattooable<\/strong>
\ntechnically, it’s impossible to do so; a line wouldn’t be a line<\/p>\n

psoriasis is a disease that can increase over time<\/strong> and appear on new areas of the body not previously affected<\/p>\n

so, if you have psoriasis and perhaps… I don’t know… have plaques on your elbow but want to get a tattoo on your shoulder, can you get tattooed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

logically, yes, but it’s not highly recommended<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

why?<\/em><\/p>\n

because psoriasis could appear in the future<\/strong> on the shoulder and make the tattoo unfortunately ugly<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

also, psoriasis could be triggered in new areas <\/strong>\u2014like the shoulder\u2014 following a tattoo<\/strong> because the tattoo is stress for the skin, and psoriasis can be triggered due to stress<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

so, it’s not recommended to get tattooed if you have psoriasis, but it’s not forbidden either<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

once you are aware and consenting, assume the risk, and don’t blame the tattoo artist in case of psoriasis flare-up, then you can get tattooed<\/p>\n

on currently intact skin, of course<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

alternatively, I could advise you to choose a tattoo artist with a gentle hand<\/strong> so that skin stress is lower, and a new flare-up is less likely\u00a0 ^_^<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CAN YOU TATTOO OVER VARICOSE VEINS?<\/h3>\n

it depends ^_^<\/em><\/p>\n

it depends on the tattoo artist’s experience in working on imperfections
\nand the “severity” of the situation\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

varicose veins are unusual dilations of the veins, and there are varicose veins that are slightly dilated, visible under the skin but flat to the tattoo, and can be easily tattooed<\/p>\n

after all, the tattoo stops within the skin, and even if they are visible, varicose veins are still under the skin<\/p>\n

if varicose veins are raised, and maybe a lot… well, each case needs to be evaluated individually, so: it depends ^_^<\/em><\/p>\n
